Abstract: This article
considers Vietnam’s integration from history of humankind civilization.
Currently Vietnam witness at the same time three parallel, overlapping
“civilization waves” (Alvin Toffler), including agricultural, industrial
and information, but the first one was dominant. Having such characters
like undisciplined, incorrect, incorporating and uncountable, Vietnam
seems to be facing the big gap of integration into the industrial
society characterized by the rules of standardization, specialization,
synchronization, and centralization. Vietnam Social Sciences have task
to identify the criteria to build up the standard values of Vietnamese
people in industrial society, meeting the requirements of industrial and
information civilization. Which is only happened when Vietnam can be
integrated into the main stream of humankind.
