Tóm tắt: Bài viết này nhằm mục tiêu giới thiệu một số lý thuyết về nguồn gốc hành vi ủng hộ xã hội và động cơ thúc đẩy hành vi ủng hộ ở con người. Những lý thuyết từ góc độ sinh học-tiến hóa, xã hội, tâm lý đã được đề cập để lý giải về nguồn gốc của hành vi này. Vị kỷ; vị tha và duy trì các nguyên tắc đạo đức là những động cơ tiềm ẩn đằng sau thúc đẩy những hành vi ủng hộ xã hội mà con người thực hiện.
